Probably military in nature and maybe intended for signals intelligence gathering (SIGINT). Initially in co-orbit with TJS-3 payload 2 and was probably attached to it on arrival at their original GEO station. Commenced eastward drift 2019 May 20 to begin a stop-start journey around the geosynchronous belt. From 2019 Sep - Dec, it stopped alongside Shijian 13 (42662/2017-018A) at 111° east, then 2020 Feb - 2021 Aug it was co-located with Shijian 20 (44910/2019-097A) at 88° east before commencing a westward drift. 2021 Oct it settled near 59° east alongside 2018-110C from where it had originally departed, remaining there until 2022 Jul 5. Continued to follow GEO belt and made further stops 2022 Sep 13 at 88° east near USA 233 (38070/2012-003A)) and 2023 Feb 8 at 137°.5 east near USA 298 (45465/2020-022B). |

Probably military in nature and maybe intended for signals intelligence gathering (SIGINT). Placed at 59° east with a simultaneously-launched TJS that may have originally been attached to it. The latter departed station 2019 May 20. Stayed on station until 2021 December when it was raised to graveyard orbit. This satellite is listed by Space-Track as a rocket body named 'TJS-3 AKM', an abbreviation for 'apogee kick motor'. |

Communications technology test satellite. Not acknowledged in initial press reports of the launch but included in the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp report of lift-off. Three days after launch, started to reduce its orbit height rapidly, losing about 20 km per day under the influence of a constant force - probably a continuously-acting thruster. The manoeuvre was completed Sep 14. |
