Zenit-6 Missions

Zenit-6, as its name implies was a genuinely new evolution of Zenit-4.

One innovation was that, where the earlier Zenits carried camera systems specific to their mission type (high resolution imaging, low resolution imaging, mapping, etc), Zenit-6 carried universal camera system that could perform multiple mission types, thereby simplifying the preparation process and shortening the time between identifying the requirement for a particular mission's needs and getting the satellite into orbit.
