Zenit-4MT Missions

This version of the Zenit-4 had a specialsed mission relating to cartography.

Its film was used to update maps of the Soviet Union and other countries. Zenit's high-precision navigation systems (well before GPS) were needed to pinpoint the exact location and orientation of the satellite and the precise geopgraphical co-ordinates of its images.
